-
Monitoring manufacturing and installation times with a strict deadline.
-
Reverse engineering of the original parts.
-
Design of new components optimized for 3D printing in titanium, including modifications and improvements.
-
Design and supervision of new G10 bearings.
*Challenges: Achieving the perfect adjustment, with a proper fit but minimal friction.

V-BOOM - Privilege 510
Construction of a lightweight and low-visibility V-boom.
My responsibilities:
-
Design, taking into account the CF construction method.
-
Design of the MDF and foam mold.
*Challenges: The complexity of the molds, including foam cores with organic geometries.

TACKLINE SYSTEM - Brenta 42
Development of a new tackline system for a racing yacht.
My responsibilities:
-
Design of new titanium components for 3D printing.
-
Research and selection of a new metal 3D printing supplier: reliable, fast, and professional.
-
Monitoring construction timelines.

GENERATOR´S CASES - Spirit 111

Design and construction of a new soundproof and fire-resistant enclosure for two generator engines, with each part designed to be handled by a single person inside the engine room. The two cases had distinct morphologies.

My responsibilities:

-
Volumetric, morphological, and dimensional survey of the available space, including the creation of 1:1 foam mock-ups.
-
Complete design of the assembly, including closing systems.
-
Design of 11 molds.
-
Monitoring production timelines and purchasing logistics.
-
Creation of construction and assembly plans and templates. Usage diagram.
-
Development of client presentation renders.
*Challenges: A very tight deadline and complex geometry surrounding the engines.

MAINSAIL HEADBOAR CAR - Wally 100
Reproduction of the original car, which was broken, into an optimized new version.

My responsibilities:
-
Reverse engineering of the original component.
-
Design optimized for 3D printing in titanium.
-
Load analysis.
-
Supervision of gear alignment via wire EDM.
-
Monitoring manufacturing and installation timelines under a tight deadline.

*Challenges: Ensuring perfect alignment of the car teeth with the original headboard, where the pitch between teeth was inconsistent. Combining metal 3D printing with wire EDM in such a long, complex, and load-bearing component was a significant challenge.

LAMINATION REPAIR

Structural repair of an old yacht using CF.

My responsibilities:
-
Measurement survey on board.
-
Design of the new structure in collaboration with the technical office.
-

-
Monitoring execution times.

BACKREST - Brenta 42
Creation of a CF backrest for a racing yacht.

My responsibilities:
-
Mold design divided into 9 foam parts.
*Challenges: The complexity of the mold design required splitting it into 9 parts to ensure proper CF lamination and safe demolding.
RAIL & CARRIAGE SYSTEM - Finot Conq 53
Design and replacement of the opening and closing system for the tender garage on a yacht.

My responsibilities:
-
